'A New Day'
Gary Bell is an Australian artist and writer who, since childhood, has pursued the illustration and recording of early Australian architecture and lifestyle in pen and ink drawings and more recently, paintings in acrylic and other coloured medium covering the unique Australian lifestyle and our heritage.
He paid more attention to Aussie Pubs during the lead-up to the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 when many liquor licences from old NSW country pubs were being sold and exploited to capitalize on the Olympic Games. Gary undertook to preserve the history and presence of some of our older Aussie Pubs.
The 'Blow-in'
After producing three Aussie historic pub sketchbooks and a number of old pub paintings Gary has expanded his art to cover more of remote Australia and Australia's heritage.
